Webinar Up FIB project

AIESB invites you to a webinar organized with ESB to present the Up FIB project on May 10, at 6.30pm.

The Up FIB project (Union pour la formation auprès des Industries du Bois et des Biosourcés - Union for training in the wood and bio-sourced industries) aims to support companies involved in developing solutions for sustainable cities and innovative buildings through initial and continuing training.

In 4 pilot regions, this means raising awareness of the wood trades and offering training and awareness-raising programs (seminars, immersion courses, etc.) tailored to young people from general and scientific backgrounds.

In practice, this project will involve the opening of two sites in September 2023: Versailles and Lyon.

• In Versailles , the ESB will be housed on the Campus Versailles, in the Grandes Ecuries building opposite the Château. This site enables students to approach both heritage issues and the more modern construction sites of Greater Paris. Students can follow two Bachelor courses: "Wood and low-carbon site manager" and "Marketing of bio-sourced solutions".

• In Lyon , the "Marketing of bio-based solutions" Bachelor's degree will also be offered. ESB students will be welcomed on the ISARA premises,

The event will be hosted by Sophie Grincourt (AIESB President) and Anne-Charlotte Coupin (ESB Communications Manager), and the project will be presented in detail by Arnaud Godevin (ESB Director).
